Despite suffering a serious fall recently, Jonty Evans will be the resident compère again, and he has lined up a number of top riders including Mark Todd, Andrew Nicholson, Paul Tapner, Daisy Berkeley and Harry Meade to come along and talk to him over the four days.

 A daily programme will be on view beside the stage, and this will be updated throughout each day. The programme will also be shown on the Big Screen in the ‘Exhibition Village’ during breaks in the live coverage of the event. In addition, there will also be some fascinating and informative presentations from experts in the following fields throughout the four days:

• Bill Vero, eminent designer and manufacturer of protective headwear for the last forty years, will talk about safety headwear, and show a short dvd which is guaranteed to stop you in your tracks. [once a day]

• Equestrian Edge specialises in improving horse and rider performance in a variety of ways, and has particular expertise in the use of Thermographic imaging to diagnose injuries in the performance horse. [once a day]

• Kate Jones, Senior Nutritionist with Natural Animal Feeds will talk on the following topics:

o Thursday - Supplements for soundness

o Friday - Supplementing the competition horse

o Saturday - Saving with Supplements

o Sunday - How to choose the right Supplement [times to be confirmed]

• Airowear Body Protectors who will feature Ruth Edge and Dan Jocelyn in their presentations. [one day each]

• Pippa Funnell and Clare Balding will talk to Jonty at 12 noon on Friday lunchtime, after which they will sign copies of Pippa’s new books, courtesy of Orion Books.

• G. Passier and Sohn have designed a saddle in conjunction with Ruth Edge, and she will be on hand to talk about her involvement with the development of the saddle.[one day only]

• Tottie Clothing sponsor Georgie Spence, and she will talk to Jonty and model items from their new clothing range. [one day only]

• Kingsland Clothing will be launching a range of quality competition and leisurewear for ladies, men and children. They sponsor Emily Llewellyn who will be on hand to model some of the clothes and talk to Jonty about her horses and her ambitions. [once a day]

• Elizabeth Inman, Director of Burghley Horse Trials has agreed to come and give us an insight into the running of this magnificent event. [one day only]
